I am Amy Greene and I live in Knoxville, TN.  Born and raised in the South, I have spent the past 13 years moving all over the United States with my husband and we even lived abroad in Switzerland.  Along the way, I have given birth to two adorable girls and with the help of my husband and a little luck, we have kept them alive – yay us!

For the past 11 years, I have worked full time as a qualitative market researcher for Ipsos-UU and love my job (most days) and feel lucky to have it. Being a working mom of two active girls is crazy and there are days I think I should just quit my job and give in to the demands of parenthood. But, I don’t think I ever will – my job gives me something that is only mine – something I can own and take all the credit for.  And, for me, that is a gift.

I struggle like every woman, mother, parent and employee to gain and maintain balance and perspecitve in my life.  I love to laugh, bake, shop and travel and hope that this blog serves not only to capture and catalog my life but also provide some comic relief along the way.  I invite you to join me on my journey and hope you can share yours with me as well.
